CONCEPT
The goal was to use the popularity the Betches had already gained from their blog posting and transfer that attitude into another brand marketable to their audience.
SOLUTION
The brand is meant to encapsulate the youthful entity that is the college girl. They contacted me to help establish a look and feel for their newly launching company. Utilizing current fashion trends, we analyzed what would be successful in their target market based on competitor's trends and sales. All slogans chosen by the client.
CONTEXT
Betches Love This was a blog started by two girls attending Cornell University. It encompassed the sorority girl lifestyle and mindset into a sarcastic gossip column. As a part of their blossoming blog, they decided to expand their ezine into a ecommerce store, dubbed Bat Shit Crazy Betches. Their betching slogan is "Taking a break from thinking about ourselves," if that gives you a subtle insight about The Betches if you weren't familiar before. And yes, those are condom lolipops.
CHALLENGE
To create an integrated merchandise website and products called Bat Shit Crazy Betches, branching off and rebranding the existing blog Betches Love This.
